CCS District Coordinators

A District Coordinator is appointed by the Chairperson from each of the Districts of the Orange County Council, Boy Scouts of America. They shall serve at the pleasure of the Chairperson and shall be full voting members of the committee.

The District Coordinator:

• Serves as an active member of the Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting.
• Recommends that unit leader or other outstanding unit scouters receive recognition when recognition is due.
• Knows the mood of the units he represents and reflects their feelings as he votes at bi-annual and annual meetings.
• Assist in recruiting qualified scouters for the committee.
• Assist the membership committee in developing new units and strengthening existing units.
